Adaptative systems for decision aid

Abstract

Decision aid is full of complexity, uncertainty and imprecision. With the huge amount of data available today, systems need to be more and more consistent and have to rely on formalized models that help dealing with complexity by capitalizing on knowledge. In this context, adaptive systems are suitable since such systems adapt their behaviour to individual users based on information acquired about their environment and their user(s). This workshop is going to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners involved in different and complementary domains like Decision, Data Science  and Knowledge Engineering to confront research results and to discuss key problems.

The major topics of interest of this workshop include, but are not limited to:

  1. Knowledge sharing and collaboration
  2. Decision support systems for knowledge management
  3. Knowledge management systems
  4. Knowledge management and business process modeling
  5. Ontology for knowledge management
  6. Information and knowledge systems
  7. Context-aware recommender systems
  8. Explainability in recommender systems

Submission Guidelines

Papers reporting original* and unpublished research results pertaining to the related topics are solicited. *(papers with plagiarism more than 30% will be outrightly rejected)

  • Extended abstracts must be in English of 4 pages as per Springer format.
  • Full paper manuscripts must be in English of up to 10 pages as per Springer format.

For authors convenience, Springer has summarized in the Author Guidelines document how a proceedings paper should be structured, how elements (headings, figures, references) should be formatted using our predefined styles, etc. The PDF of the Authors Guidelines can be downloaded from the given link or as part of the zip files containing the complete sets of instructions and templates for the different text preparation systems.

Springer has developed LaTeX style files and Word templates to help prepare paper. LaTeX is the preferred format for texts containing several formulae, but Word templates are also available on the following link:
